Filmmuseum Munich<\/a> is offering a series of films celebrating certain architects, titled Portraits of Architects, <\/strong>in <\/strong>April 2011<\/strong>. <\/strong> The segment on John Lautner is the first event <\/strong>of 2011 celebrating the 100th birthday of Lautner.<\/p>\n

The series of films includes A Single Man<\/a> <\/em>along\u00a0with several\u00a0short films featuring Lautner’s buildings, \u00a0The Spirit in Architecture<\/a><\/em>, the first documentary on Lautner, and Infinite Space<\/a><\/em>, the second documentary. \u00a0The Lautner segment will be held from April 9 to April 10, 2011. Bette Jane Cohen, director of The Spirit in Architecture<\/em>, will be available at the screening of her film for discussion. Other Lautner experts are expected but not yet confirmed.<\/p>\n
