READ THIS FIRST! Are you interested in finding photographs or plans or visiting a Lautner building? Your questions are answered on the FAQ page. Do you need materials for a project? Check the archive page. Do you want to find more information on Lautner buildings? Check out the links page

Exhibit at the Hammer: The first comprehensive exhibit on the work of John Lautner will take place at the Hammer Museum from July 13 through October 12, 2008.

Tours: The Hammer museum, in cooperation with the MAK Center, is offering tours of Lautner homes. Right now two dates are confirmed: July 27 and September 14.  Tickets are available to Hammer members only, and will go on sale June 16. Full details will be available on the Hammer website June 6. See the Hammer exhibit page

Get the museum catalog now. It's a beautiful book. If you purchase from this link a small portion of the price will go to support the foundation:

Want more? Check out the ever-changing Picasa photo albums on Lautner's work. Most of the photographers are amateurs but the photographs nevertheless show many Lautner buildings well.

Watch this space for changes. A new look will soon replace the old. All of the old information will be available but in a different format that we hope will make it easier to find what you want.

Read the exhibit description from the Hammer. Read the April 10 LA Times article about Lautner, and the article in the same issue on Lautner's Harpel house.

New film: A part of the above exhibit is new photography, including new film of several Lautner buildings, by architectural filmmaker Murray Grigor. In addition to the films incorporated into the exhibit, Grigor is producing a new documentary on Lautner, to be screened during the exhibition. Read about it here.

The exhibit will travel after its Los Angeles run:
